There has been massive floods in Vietnam. For 5 days straight, the region had record breaking rain of up to 5 feet has been reported.These floods killed at least 28 people, left 9 missing and put 70,000 houses underwater. The government have sent two helicopters to drop of food and water to several villages that are still cut off by the flood waters. Also rescuers went to other villages over land to give them food, water and aid. Also Weather reports show that for the next couple of days they will be having rain showers in certain regions of Vietnam but they are highly unlikely to cause more flooding in these areas. The good news is that it has been reported that water levels are slowly receding in certain areas in Vietnam. This Catasrophe happend on October 6, 2010.
