Slowly read because you can become warmer. A long study in Central Amercia gives one more reason for concern. Adult trees in a rainforeast in Costa Rica, grew more slowly in the warm years then it did in the cold years. From 1984to 2000, Biologists and colleagues of the University of Missouri in St. Louis and measured the Wiolthof old trees in a 2 square kilometer plot of rainforeast in La Selkva Costa Rica. During the coolest years, a time period running from 1984 to 1986, the trees grew 81 precent more than they did during the 1997 heat wave. The trees also grew slowly in 1987 another warm year. Thanks for reading my story-OK!
