The world is moving!!! Did you know that our continents are slowly moving away from each other? They've been moving for thousands, no MILLIONS of years. A long time ago when the Earth was young, each continent was actually together. Volcanoes, water, and lots of other stuff caused them to slowly break away from each other. Even today, the continents are still moving. Scientists believe that in a long time from now (not in your lifetime) the Atlantic Ocean will be just as big as the Pacific Ocean because of continental movement. To learn more about continental movements, search it on the web. That, and learning from school, is how I learned about it.
