2014! Did you know that U.S. troops will stay in Afghanistan at least until 2014. The president (Barak Obama), this is 3 years past the original promise when the president first took office. The plan will be introduced at a NATO Summit in Lisbon, Portugal. Under the latest plan, U.S. and NATO officials will begin turning over the responsibility for security to the Afghanistan forces. The hope is that Afghanistan will be able to take control by then. The 2014 date might change however, the president made an agreement with the leader of the troops that they may stay in Afghanistan as long as they feel it necessary. Let’s wish the troops good luck. BYE!!!! OKN!!!!!
