ImageWorld’s biggest ball of magnetic tape At Kings Place gallery on a Wednesday, January 19 in central London a record was attempted for the world’s largest ball of magnetic tape! The huge ball of magnetic tape was hung from a measuring device and was elevated from the ground. The giant ball hade been made out of data tape which can be found in cassette. The ball was made by students and engineers, and the gigantic ball only took three weeks to make! The ball was finally measured and its width was 2.125 meters and 2.030 meters in height and weighs an incredible 580kg making it a new world record for EMC! This wasn’t the first time EMC broke a record, one of EMC records was the most vinyl records broken in 30 seconds and the most people crammed into a mini cooper witch was 26 pepole... OKN!
