On October 8, 2010, Yum-Bir the Turkish Egg Producers along with 10 chefs and 50 cooks were on a mission to create the worlds largest Omelet. The record they needed to beat was 7,991 pounds set in South Africa in 2009. The delicious Omelet had to include eggs,****er and oil and it had to be a version of the normal omelet. Before the massive dish was cooked it was said that the metal pan weighed about 7,548 pounds. Wow, that’s one big pan. After the pan was weighed, 110,000 organic liquid eggs were given by the liquid egg company. Also 300 liters of salt and oil were added. Finally after two long hours of cooking the final weight was a whopping 4,401 tons. Yummy, just reading this story makes me hungry OKN.
