The most different dishes on display at one time happened in Wuhan City Hubei on January 27, 2011. The event was organized by the administration Committee of the Baibuting community. The dishes were cooked by many residents in the community, each dish needed to follow certain guidelines for the record to be complete. The guidelines were that each dish required one main ingredient; the total number of dishes was an incredible 8,727 dishes that was verified by public Notary. Sadly 518 dishes were disqualified due to the appearance of the same main ingredients. Finally 8,146 dishes were on display which is now a World record! I wonder how long they are going to keep these meals on display because I’m getting very hungry OKN!
