The record for the most people tossing coins simultaneously was on October 16, 2010. The record attempt was organized by the Royal Mint who is the worlds leading coin manufacturer located in Pontyclyn. As the record attempt was on the verge of being made, it was crucial that for every 50 participants, one supervisor was in place to verify that each person had followed the Guinness World record guidelines. 1,697 people gathered around next to each other to prepare for the coin toss. The Royal Mint had beaten the previous record holder by more participants. After all the evidence was proved, all families, co-workers and friends had all achieved the new record for the most people tossing coins simultaneously. I could only wonder how loud it was when all 1,697 coins hit the concrete at once. OKN.
