On Monday, January 11, 2011 in Las Vegas, a new record was broken; the highest flame blown by a fire breather! The current record was set by Tim black of Australia; the flames reached an amazing 23ft 7in. This record was attempted by a man named Antonio Restivo, who is a fire performer and his current job is a headliner in the tournament of kings at the hotel in Las Vegas. Antonio fist began performing with fire when he got out of high school; Antonio has also been traveling around the country teaching many people about performing and safety. For the dangerous event Antonio lit a torch and filled his mouth with paraffin which is an inflammable liquid burned as fuel. Antonio took in a large breath and used all of his lung power to paraffin into the torch. There were several video cameras recording the event but on the count of three Antonio burst out a gigantic fireball that was so high it reached the ceiling! Photographs were taken and the flames reached an unbelievable 26ft 5in OKN.
