In January 2009, US Airways Flight 1549 landed in the Hudson River in New York after collision with a pack of geese. Flight 1549 US Airways jet will be put in the Museum in Charlotte North Carolina where the plane was headed. Carolinas Aviation Company has almost completed an agreement to buy the plane from the insurance company that owns it. The museum attracts 30,000 people a year; this number could increase by 10,000 once the plan goes up on display. There is a possible chance that the plane will be on display by May. This Museum has been opened for 19 years; it has over 50 aircraft in its collection! The US Airways spokesmen Derek Hanna said that the airline hade no comment about the plan. She also said that she was directing all calls to the Carolinas Aviation museum. Flight 1549 was a 320 jetliner that landed in cold waters of the Hudson River, after birds knocked out the engines. I would love to go to this museum and see this 320 jetliner …OKN.
