Why do they?
Well scientist have figured it out. The geese fly in a V formation because it helps them to fly better. For example, the wind from the bird's wing in front of the other bird is blowing air to the other bird. Therefore, the wind is blowing under the bird helping it lift up in the air. That's what happens to all the other birds too. The only thing that keeps me thinking is how they know which dirrection is south so they can go south for the winter. If you know, make a comment.
