OMG, it's a UFO! Or is it...
In Phoenix, Arizona, it doesn't rain often there. So, imagine one day you are looking up gazing at the blue sky when suddenly some kind of "UFO" is what you're watching. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says he got calls about the object all Monday afternoon. As it turns out the "UFO" is actually a 4,000-pound NASA research balloon used to measure gamma ray emissions. It's funny because one lady even said that it looked like the big bubble from the Wizard of Oz. Bill Stepp of NASA's Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility in Palestine, Texas, says that the balloon usually floats at 130,000 feet and can be seen for about 170 miles on a clear day. Isn't that cool?
