Make Your School A Greener Place!
We’re half way through summer and will soon be getting ready to go back to school. Office supply stores are selling more and more environmentally safe products. Notebooks and school supplies made of recycled material are easy to find. You can start thinking of how to get your school to take part. Ask your teacher to put up green tips for the week on the board and if your school ground does not have a lot of trees, ask about having the kids plant trees. Maybe you’ll get some extra credit in science if you get a group of kids together to plant trees at your school. It’s worth the try, and even if you don’t get extra credit, you’ll make the planet a greener place.
