Do violent video games make kids cruel? For Example, I think kids who shoot animals for fun should be arrested. This is animal abuse. What are your thoughts on this? I think kids who kill poor animals just for the fun of it and leave their body’s to rot should be punished. That’s just sick and cruel. If a kid has the heart to kill an animal, what’s to stop them from killing a human being? The government is now thinking about raising the age limit to get guns older. Yet others have argued that this wouldn’t be fair for the teens that are doing the right thing. It takes a lot of maturity to own a gun. There have been hundreds of studies dealing with the effect of violent video games on the human psyche; one thought is that violent video games only influence the children who already have violent and aggressive tendencies. What do you think? Should we blame violent video games for violence and cruelty in children? ---Skyla
