Little House in the Big Woods is the first book in the series Little House on the Prairie. I think this book describes the first days of Laura's adventure perfectly. I finished this book in Connecticut where my grand parents live and they live in like a woodsy area and the book takes place in the Big Woods. I really enjoyed and got into the book. It starts out with Laura and her family finishing up fall into winter. It describes everything they do daily and everything else; which I think is really cool!
