A sad story, but happy ending...Hey guys its Halle! I just saw a friend of mine today who I haven't seen in years. Okay, so here's what happened...
About five years ago, I had a best friend who shared my name (Halle) but she spelled it a little differently. We always used to play together; outside, inside, anywhere! We were the bestest friends anyone could ever think of. We had sleep-overs, parties, and we always shared things.
One day, a sad thing happened: Haille moved! I was devastated for months. My heart was broken and crushed into a million pieces. When she left, I gave her my friendship bracelet and she gave me hers. We never forgot each other. Ever since that happened, I always cried when I talked about Haille, so soon I decided to just not think about her anymore.
On a random day (today), Haille and her brother came to my house. I didn't know who she was at first. She had gotten so tall! She looked so different! But in my heart I knew she looked familiar. My mom said hi to her and her family, and let them come inside. I was a little shy at first. Then, my mom told me that it was Haille, my long lost friend! I was so happy!
We had lot's of fun singing, dancing, and playing on the computer together. It was best friends reuniting. Soon, it was time for her to leave. I was sad again. But then I learned they're staying for a week, so I could still play with her. She will be back here tomorrow, and we will have loads of fun! Turns out, we are now better friends than we were before. I got her phone number and everything so that we could always contact each other. So the lesson is, if your best friend or loved one moves, don't worry. Someday, you won't even know it, but they'll be back. Halle!!!
