Guess what? Today is Earth Day!
Earth Day is a day that
celebrates our Earth and its environment. This special day was founded
by the U.S. senator, Gaylord Nelson.
Good ways to celebrate Earth Day are: picking up unneeded trash,
recycling, and use less nonrenewable resources. This Earth Day marks the
beginning of “The Green Generation Campaign”. You should use less fossil
fuels and more renewable energy. Plastics, coal, and oils should also be used
less because those are nonrenewable resources. If you like to be active, then
just get some friends and make a plan to use more renewable resources and
whenever you see trash on the ground, pick it up to help our planet Earth. My
family likes to help the environment, especially on Earth Day.
So this year just keep on saving our environment.
