Image Fireworks were launched from the middle of the St. Lawrence River, Québec City, Canada.

Canadians Celebrated the City 400th birthday Thursday, July 3, 2008. The fireworks extravaganza was called the biggest ever in Canada. Earlier, bells rang out in hundreds of Canadian towns and cities at exactly 11 a.m. EST to mark the occasion. July 3, 1608, arrival of explorer Samuel de Champlain, who founded what would become the provincial capital. 400 years is a lot of years! I think......OK
