PEOPLE WERE HERE WWAAAAAAAAAAAAAY BEFORE WE WERE!...About 10,000 years ago, a group of people called Paleo-Indians (named by scientists) discovered America. No one was living here, there were only animals. It was hard for these humans to survive. They had dangers lurking around every corner, like the Smilodon, or as kids call it, the saber- toothed tiger, there were huge elephants that were ten times larger than regular elephants and they had super long tusks, and lots of other scary creatures. These Paleo-Indians were not afraid, but aware of these things. There were adults, children just like us, grandma’s, grandpa's, parents, everything. They had the same hardware as us, but not the software. This technically means, they were as smart, if not smarter, than us. They just didn't have the experience we do. So did Christopher Columbus discover America? I'd like to think not, because these Paleo-Indians were the first ones here, not Christopher Columbus. If you want to learn more about Paleo-Indians, ask your teacher or search it on the web. They really did exist. Without them, we wouldn't be here. Love always, Halle!!!
