You should check this place out
Let me introduce you to America I Am. In case you’re wondering what this is, it is an exhibit at the Constitution Center. It premièred on January 15th and ends on May 3rd 2009. This exhibit shows the amazing, fascinating, journey through African American history. See what African Americans had to go through to be here today. See the things that famous African Americans contributed to America. Explore 12 different galleries full of things you probably have never even heard of. You can see how slaves were brought from Africa from America, the door key to the cell door and the stool that Martin Luther King Jr. sat on for 9 days in jail and African Americans Cultures and Music. Follow this amazing journey from the Revolutionary War all the way to today with Barack Obama as our first ever African American President. This Exhibit is going to end on May 3rd so hurry. America I am at the Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
